Received a bunch of comments on my blog the past week. One mystery comment was cleared up (thanks Stephen!), and another was left behind (so who left that other one?). And in between, there've been a bunch of things I wanted to respond to with comments of my own.
Obviously, I've been avoiding leaving comments on the comments thread (and it's been getting harder and harder to do so!). Two reasons: I've been hoping that comments left behind serve as reasons to write at length about something new, and second because I've noticed that some people leave comments on the last entry they read regardless of the post for which it was meant. As regards the former, I just haven't been able to keep up; for the latter, just didn't want to have a string of comments unrelated to its immediate post.
So below you'll find my reaction to some of the more recent ones. Oh, and if you happen to be Chichi, Stephen or (as far back as) Monica: they're rejoinders to your comments.
